Biography

An emeritus engineering faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, keenly interested in the difficult challenges of our times such as how to feed our planet humanity, how to provide energy for development and how to avoid overpopulation. Involved in the education of the ethnic minorities in Philadelphia and in the interface between the University and the minority sectors.

materials and devices for electronics applications including energy conversion and storage, in particular super-capacitors, nano-composite materials, and deposition methods such as electro-spinning and electrodeposition Materials for energy storage devices / polymer based composites

Highlights

He is the Faculty Master at Kings Court English College House where he was instrumental in the organization of the Science and Technology Wing (STWing), which have been serving the technically oriented student population for more than a decade.
